Life & Hobbies

Dr. Smart was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergrad degree, and then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry for dental school. In 2015, Dr. Smart and her husband, Rodney (who is an anesthesiologist), moved to Owasso, Oklahoma, and have enjoyed raising their three children there – Carson is 11-years-old, Kennedy is 6-years-old, and Avery is 3-years-old. The family has a beloved 1.5-year-old Aussiedoodle puppy named Oliver aka “Ollie.”  During their free time, Dr. Smart’s family loves to travel. Some of their favorite places to visit include Breckenridge, Colorado, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and the Riveria Maya in Mexico. Every year, they take a ski vacation and beach vacation, and enjoy spending time at their lake condo on Grand Lake in the summer where they enjoy wake surfing and other water sports. In her free time, Dr. Smart cooking, reading, running, and spending time at the soccer fields watching Carson and Kennedy play competitive soccer. Dr. Smart and her husband also love to try new restaurants around the Tulsa area for date nights. She and her family are also active members of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Owasso, Oklahoma.
